Last week I went on a shopping spree for the new summer trends. I stopped by the Pop Up shop in DownTown Mall in the Fifth Settlement New Cairo. And WOW i was completely amazed by the Egyptian collections that I have discovered there. The most amazing collection that definitely caught my eye was by AMINA K.

Pleats are not to be forgotton

Considered One of the most fashionable statements this season is the Pleated Outfit. I consider them care free and romantic. Thanks to various designer brands we have the chance to see amazing new styles, prints, patchworks, and embroidered dresses that capture the seventies spirits.

These outfits were part of London Fashion Week 2015. I believe them to be inspirational designs that are suitable for wearing in the streets, at work, creative events, as well as night outings. In other words, these perfect staples can work in almost any setting, like morning coffees or late night parties.
The following pleated versions are ideal for various occasion wear.

For example the above pleated dress, it is modern with a fresh look. Wear it in the morning with your converse or your oxfords to give you the relaxed look that you aim for. Or team it up with high pumps or sandals - this would look perfect too.

That's a stunning look for wearing at various creative parties. We see this modernized look that includes  modern T-shirt and pleated knee-length asymmetric design.

Finally the sun is shining and flowers are blooming and the weather is just right to start thinking about our Summer Essentials.

It took me a while to decide what's hot and what's not this Spring Summer 2015.

Jumpsuits 
They flirty, fun and versatile. Compose a cool summer look with this trend. Check the below picks, some are sexy some are loose and drapery.

Wide legged Culottes

The 2015 comes with wide-leg styles, sporty looks, skinnies, etc.  The wide-legs are the key trend look. You can wear wide legs for day time or evening. You can go casual, boho or even tailored.

Fringe Factor

Fringe is going on full swing this spring. Although fringe is not exactly a new trend in the industry, but many designers have found the same necessity to bring back the fringe factor in their Spring/Summer 2015 collections.

My favorite coffee shop, and my favorite piece of accessory

An emotional attachment

There is nothing like a fresh cup of premium coffee to start or end your day.

Strindberg Café at Esplanade Street in Helsinki, Finland must be the most complete coffee experience in my life.

As I entered the premise of this beautiful and very cozy café. All at once I was bombarded with the aroma of fresh roasted coffee and together with the freshly baked pastries.

I newly discovered it when I was on a family vacation, and afterwards every evening we used to pop in for a nice cup of coffee and don’t forget my accessory. 

Yes nothing else than the Blueberry Pie with hot vanilla cream J

One day I sat down to tidy up my closets, and discovered that I own MORE THAN 20 BAGS!

I LOVE MY ACCESSORIES AND I LOVE OWNING NEW BAGS

Whatever I do I can’t get myself to give one away. The reason I buy a specific handbag is because I like the design or I like how its color contemplates my skin color.

You will soon discover that I love to carry around colorful bags that are not standard in any way.

I am writing this piece to share with you few of my favorite bag styles:

Once I saw the beautiful rose gold accessories and the refreshing soft color I couldn’t resist this new addition. It’s s pretty, soft and lovely in every way.

• Chanel  obsession

Once my friends saw that I bought a new Cobalt Blue Chanel bag they started accusing me of being crazy for not buying the traditional classic black one. But never mind them I love it :)

• Bottega Veneta Python bag

It took me one look at this delightful bag to decide to buy it. Plus it was on sale! But the color and the size was a big YES YES for me

Purchasing the latest fashion trends from the comfort of your own living room certainly is becoming more popular  than actually driving to a store, while offering a virtually unlimited array of choices and the ability to compare prices and different brands. Shopping for clothes online, whether you buy them from a big  store or a custom boutique, can get you a great style at bargain prices. But we always have the concern how this piece would look on me or would it fit you think? Here's some tips that I use to make sure that never, ever happens:

1) The measuring tape is your friend:  always check the size charts available in almost all online retailers sites. Check for sizing notes on the items you're thinking about buying.

2) Look at customer reviews, too, if they're available.

3)  Keep notes of Brands, Retailers, and Designers you've bought before and felt good in them.

4) Chat online with the store representative - if available - to get the latest news on trends

Helsinki Through My Eyes
Merry Christmas to all my readers!

This year I traveled with my family to Helsinki - Finland to experience Christmas abroad for the first time.

I want to tell you that it was a best experience I have had in years :) I love this city.

This year the snow arrived just in time to turn the dark and rainy Helsinki into a real Christmas feeling town and spirit. Once the snow arrived we jumped to the opportunity of taking a quiet walk in the snow in Seurasaari. The snow really makes a difference, it brigs light, makes children to laugh and adults to smile.

We managed also to attend Nut Cracker ballet and La Boheme  opera in the Finish Opera House. Helsinki has a rich and impressive cultural life that features top names from both Finland and abroad. It was a new experience that I would do over again at any time :)

To sum all up, I can't wait to visit Helsinki again !
