Iconic Jewelry with a meaning

There is a large collection of fashionable jewelry designs available in the Egyptian Market. The designs can be considered a mixture of the modern tastes and middle eastern influences.
Iconic jewelry play a vital role in our daily life and our daily wardrobe. Adding iconic items to your outfit completes the overall beauty of your looks.
Wearing different pieces on the same outfit changes the look entirely. Therefore play with your iconic pieces to get new looks out of your same wardrobe.
In essence, jewelry is intended to be inspirational and motivational - like sending messages of love, encouragement and goodwill to your loved ones.

Ready for our Must Have pieces winter 2014 Count Down?

Here is my list of suggested must haves for Fall and Winter. The items cut across all body types, lifestyles, budgets, style persona, and age groups. It’s a question of finding the right version of the item that works best for you

  • Bomber Jacket:

It is considered a classic fashion icon. This season they are a key piece once again. Silky bombers with flamboyant, decorative touches were on show everywhere. The high street has gone bananas for the bomber this season, offering a take to suit every wardrobe and budget. Silky bombers are a great choice for evening. If you don't want to go for black, try metallic. The lux bomber is very of the moment.
Here is my pick of the best. Dina Shaker Designs - Cairo

  • Jeans of Movement:

The baggy boyfriend jeans are the look you should run after this season. Another way to go for this look is the harem Trousers. Sherwal Designs – Cairo

  • Fluid and Oversized tops:
Wear your clothes a little or a lot looser all over, and move away from head to toe body con silhouettes. Fluid fits are brilliant because they’re roomier than tailored fits, but not as baggy as oversized cuts. Tailored clothing that skims the contour of your body is always in style, but wearing items a little looser than that is definitely more fashionable. Try out Nada Akram designs cairo

Introducing Dina Shaker #dinashaker, a gifted designer and a truly modern artist

Its my absolute pleasure, to introduce you guys to designer Dina Shaker.
Dina is one of the AMAAAZING Egyptian designers that I recently came across.

Name: Dina Shaker, a new Cairo-based label - @dinashaker

Description for her work in 5 words: Delicate, Couture – Like, Ultra Feminine, Luxurious and Modern

I found her garments seriously attractive.  I liked the contrast between very small and detailed embroidery and crazy amounts of volume!
In her latest collection, she used different materials that ranged from sequence to leather. Another key feature is the use of prints in a modernized way. They  stand out and all the designs are completely original.

The use of color enhances the graphic which has quite a clear and strong traditional Arabic influence.  Dina Shaker Winter 2014 campaign is a glorious and colorful glimpse into the bright future of this fashion brand.

Take a look at her collection and tell me what you think :)

Believing in Colors

Color is, and always has been, a recurring theme throughout collections. I think color is a way of communicating your mood for the day.

This season’s trends will help you communicate in bolder sense; whether you go for eye-popping neon hues or sumptuous jewel tones, in my opinion, the only way to work the color explosion is in boldly clashing blocks.

This season, it’s time to break all the traditional color rules and fashion codes. Unexpected combinations are no longer a fashion faux pas, so be brave and mix red with pink, blue with green and yellow with orange.

For a slightly less challenging take on the trend; combine your bright wardobe with black or contrast different shades of the same color.

In my opinion the best way of incorporating color & pattern into any wardrobe,  is through accessories. Like a bold Necklace and a matching bag by Shorouk

Another great idea to add a splash of colour to any outfit is with a scarf; patterned and full of color. It just seems to go with everything - black, grey, navy, white. Plus it would go perfectly with jeans, a casual white t-shirt & a great blazer.

Looking forward to a great Color Popping this season :)
